OMAS

Founded in 1950 by Carlo Rabolli and associates, OMAS (Officine Meccaniche Affettatrici Santo Stefano) began as a venture in the production of balances and scales in Oggiona's territory, known for these traditional products. Recognizing a commercial opportunity, Carlo expanded the business to include slicers, leading to the creation of the innovative S9 model, the first flywheel slicer in the region. The 1960s saw the entry of Carlo's son, Walter Rabolli, into the family business, propelling Omas into international markets, including the Far East and Australia. Throughout the 1970s-1990s, Omas distinguished itself in the food machinery industry by continually enhancing its models, launching automatic slicers, and adapting to evolving safety regulations. Today, Omas stands as a symbol of constant research, technical improvement, and closely monitored production, maintaining a blend of craftsmanship and technological advancements. The company prioritizes innovation, commercial diversification, and top-quality materials, ensuring that each machine is a testament to the dedication of everyone involved in its creation. In the face of foreign competition, Omas remains committed to delivering top-notch quality while embracing a tradition of sixty years of excellence.
